The first ever MAFS center health fair was a huge success. We had bone density machines, BP monitors, glucometers, BMI/percent body fat scales. We also educated patients on asthma awareness, cholesterol, and poison prevention. At the end of the fair there were officially 31 consent forms collected from operation diabetes (OD), but I there were at least 40 or 50 people who attended the fair. OD might have just run out of consent forms or people just got tired of waiting for the OD booth. Nalini Goyle from the parent chapter was present to supervise.

We still have our Devon Health fair at the Indo-Pak center. Maybe we can do this one sometime in February I can contact the center once we’re closer to the date.

Zain and Chirag have finally came up with the T-Shirts. It's small mouse sitting atop an elephant and a quote below the picture reads "AIPhA bringing people together." When I have the official design I can email it to you if you would like to order one or if anyone else from the parent chapter would like to order one. I can give you the exact prize once we get a quote from the T-Shirt provider but I don't think they will be more then $11.

We have also started planning for Cultural Night. I can send you an invitation soon for all the parent AIPhA members. It's a free event open to everyone and there will be appetizers. I've attached a document with more details.
